Don't get me wrong, I am not looking for praise (although that is nice) but more along the lines of "FEEDBACK". Having more of a background in the aviation world, I am still not all that comfortable nor confident in the trainz world. I still haven't gotten any comments about the Buckingham Branch route I uploaded so I have no idea if my first attempt at route building is decent or if it sucks.

I don't have Buckingham installed....because TRS isn't being used at the moment, but from those screenshots it looks damn near incredible.;)

(The link is in the last post in that thread) I am sure it has a lot of stuff wrong but I have no idea what. How can I learn from my mistakes if I have no idea what they are?

Over time you get a better sense of what goes where and how you want your routes to look. If this is one of your first routes...your looking to be an amazing route builder down the road. I look forward to more screenshots and I bet a lot of other people are too.

As far as this route goes, I am running out of ideas with 50 more boards to go. All there is along this route is some wood loading yards. It is all woodland and farms. I do have a concern about putting crops into a fall theme but ding, I have to do something. So far, I have not been able to find any dried corn splines or any other crops other than wheat, rasberrys, cabbage (and some clover splines)

I usually just wing it...make it up as I go...if your at route builders block now...it will go away...I bet you anything you'll see something that gives that spark of inspiration you need to fill those boards.

The motive power should be all C&O because that was what ran these rails when the line was in use back over 50 years ago. Mostly hauling pulp wood from woodyards along the line. When my father was young, he hauled many cords of pulp wood to the Troy, Va yard. That was how he made his living back then.

Again, thanks for the comments, they are greatly appreciated.

Railroad family huh? Awesome. ^^
