Running through East Kentucky, I decided to do some railfanning in coal country, here are a few shots of the Amtrak train that was running through East Kentucky that day...
These cars, which are part of the Heritage Fleet, obviously had their roots established in the old CB&Q Zephyr cars that plied the rails between Chicago and Oakland for a number of years, even though these are Amtrak's incarnation of these cars, and even though they appear in some rough shape after being used by Amtrak, they still shine in the hearts of those who loved the great name trainz of the past!!!!!!:wave::wave::wave:
