First of all I read what I could find in “TS12_Manual_US Trainz &Trainz_Simulator_12_Standard_Manual” not much there. I have had problems with Build 58414 losing my routes maybe they went to another layer. I have never messed with the “layers F6 tab”, to me it’s like going in to another dimension. I found the problem when trying to put a train in a yard track. This is the error I received.
It says: “error: cannot add object as the selected layer is above that of the targeted track. Trackside object cannot be placed in a layer above the track they are being attached to.” So I went to F6 and this is what came up first. It says going down “route-layer” then “buildingbase” and below “session-layer. All unlocked.
I clicked on the “route-layer”. This is what came up.There is no switches in this photo.
Then I clicked on “ buildingbase”. And this came up.There is no track.
Is there a way to merge or get all the layers into one? And maybe this is the cause of some of my “red bugs” and missing routes. As I said I have never went to layers until now. Thanks funnnyfarm
