Get the best laptop you can afford - but do not buy a HP Pavilion DV6 just cooked my third one this afternoon as in the processor got so hot it melted the plastic base cover and then set off all the fire alarms, they must be dud as when I rang the HP repair line and I told them what had happend they did not question it and just arranged for courier pick up the cooked one and another new one to be sent to me.
