I only had a few bucks to spare, so I only got a scale DT&I GP35. But the guy I bought it from invited me to an HO op session next weekend, so that's got to count for some thing.

Then later I went to Durand and caught CMrr coming into town around 5:30ish.

Also, I burnt my mouth on some hot coco....

Cool Ive Been through Durand on the GLC in a Cab ride

The foamer in me wants to beat you. Painfully.

I wish I could find some N scale TSBY. I have HO 389. Im going for a Central Michigan theme to my N scale layout. Next up is a CMrr loco since I have seen a few of them.

May I suggest Something.

If you want to run your HO Scale trains on a club layout then goto the Saginaw Railroad Museum at 900 Maple St just off the LSRC Tracks. I went 2 weeks ago and got to help a 9 yrold driving a CSX Coal Train Shunt and spot cars. They Also Have a HO Scale CM GP38-2. They were at the Train Show. It is in Saginaw.

Saginaw is a bit out of the ways for me. I am located in a key place. Its about 15 miles from my house to the Detroit Model Railroad club and 15 miles to Chi Town Union Station. Both places are 2 rail O scale.

But for HO, my old HO layout was torn down a while ago. But one of the guys from the Lansing show invited me to come operate his modular layout at the model railroad work shop/show on the 27th in Livoina. It sounds like fun and my TSBY 389 and PM 469 will be there.

Hmm maybe we should try & plan a MI gathering of Trainzers...

Maybe. And if any one is close enough to Chi Town Union station, my buddy and I have been working on car card operations. We don't have too many industries yet, but well need operators. I have 2 yard positions at the moment with 2-4 more opining up as soon as the other yard(s) is/are done. A few locals as well as transfers and manifests that can be run.

Trains are run in a free for all sort of manner. So rather the say run this train, operators can take any train they want, so long as its ready to run. It 2 rail O scale, but dont worry if you dont have any equipment to run, I have quite a bit.

I have videos on my You Tube page here: http://www.youtube.com/Jib228
And we have a web site here: http://www.chi-townunionstation.org/index.htm

This is just one idea for a meet up.

Ill be there Friday and Saturday. I don't know what time Friday cause I might take my Jeep into the shop. One of those days a new guy named Ethan might be there too. Just if you wanted to operate, you wold have to talk to the owner Paul. I keep the trains rolling, train new crews, classify cars in BV yard. But the say as to who gets to run is up to Paul. Get talking to him if you do come. Tell him what your model railroading experience is, he'll let you run. And Ill train you on one of my personal locomotives.
