Lagging in TS2010

Hi all, when I am playing Trainz 2010 EE, it always lags.

I have 2GB RAM, I am going to upgrade to 8GB later on, but in the meantime, is there another way to minimize the lag?

Also will the lag stop when the 8GB is put in, along with a new motherboard?

Thanks Cameron

For now, reduce all the sliders in options/visual settings. 2G of Ram is a very small amount, 8G will be fine but it will still all depend on what you put the Ram to work with. A system can have a bottle neck in many places and having the most and best of hardware can be worth little if just one item of hardware is cheap and slow.
What are you upgrading too and what specs do you have now? ;)

What graphics card do you have also can be a factor here, computer speed, processer, I do know that 2gb ram might be a problem with a windows 7 computer uses 1gb to run windows 7.

The laggggy side of Beattie:hehe:
