kuids and asset names

I have a quick question : is there a simple way to get the asset names from a list of kuids ?
I can make a script if I know where to grab the information (other than manually in the CMP !)

If the list of kuids is in the form of cdp files there are a number of ways of converting these to name files.


CDP browser 2 will list the kuids and names of asset(s) in a .cdp or a directory containing .cdp files and is available from TPR:

you will need to be a registered (free) and logged in to see the download in the first post.


There is also a utility that will take a list of .cdp files and rename them with the kuid and name to a new directory if you wish. It only works with cdp files not cdp2 files.

I believe Asset-X can also do something similar but I have not used that.
