He posted around these forums that were he's at that he might or might not have internet connection! So, he might show up or not!

Just a thought, did you guys check via CMP+ those kuids or what creator those kuids belongs to by checking the prefixes, for example 58223: is me, etc?

I saw that Klinger has internet now(if my memory serves me right) and I did not try the kuid prefix thingy. I had no idea about that. Thanks!

So the TPR link won't work because the site admin is AWOL, and the textures.zip contains the extracted contents of the CDP but not the CDP itself. How do I manually install the textures?

Hi, maybe someone can clarify something that I might be missing. I had the same problem as the OP after installing the subway route, but was able to successfully download and install the CDP from the TPR Download Depot except for one small anomaly. This showed up in the details following installation:

Error: Failed to install asset <kuid:10221:503>

Does anyone have any ideas why this would be, and how I can go about fixing it? Or where I could find an error free version of the above asset? I am running TS12 build 49922.

Has anyone else had this problem where an asset failed to load from a CDP and maybe even how to solve it? Does anyone know why this asset in the CDP from TPR might be faulty? This is in TS12.

Elevated Subway Track <kuid:10221:503>

The solution to my problem, I discovered, is unchecking a checkbox in Content Manager, thereby no longer automatically committing assets upon installation. Turns out that this is in important step in figuring out why assets are failing to install as they now remain available and 'Open For Edit'.
Discovering this revealed that asset <kuid:10221:503> did not have a config.txt file. Either it never made it into the CDP or the CDP was corrupted in such a way that the config.txt file was not readable. The error generated was this:

Failed to install asset <kuid:10221:503> (Failed to decompress data. Content package may be damaged)

The asset name is 'Elevated Subway Track' and viewing the .im file showed that it was similar to 'Elevated Subway 1 Track'. All I had to do was copy the config.txt file from the latter into the folder for the former, make a couple edits, and commit. No more missing dependencies!
