Keyboard function keys not working in Trainz

In the latest instalment of my 'Trainz behaving oddly in Windows' saga (you may recall that one of my TRS22 installs adamantly refuses to 'phone home' so I can't even start it up); now I've noticed that my keyboard function keys are no longer working in Trainz (so no ctrl-F2 to switch from Surveyor to Driver for example.) Don't know if anyone else has experienced this behaviour? (I'm not aware my keyboard settings have changed, though there may be something deeply buried within Windows 11 that could affect this stuff.) Advice welcomed!

I've noticed that my keyboard function keys are no longer working in Trainz (so no ctrl-F2 to switch from Surveyor to Driver for example.)

I just tested it in TRS22PE and both Ctrl-F2 (Surveyor to Driver) and Ctrl-F1 (Driver to Surveyor) are working as advertised.

Check your Control Settings to see if these keys have been changed or disabled. Also is there something running in Windows in the background that is intercepting the Ctrl-F2 keystroke before it reaches Trainz?
