Just popping in....

Hey Smiley,

It's been a while, in deed!

I hope that you are in good health and in good spirits!

Welcome back!

Ishie

Hi Meatloaf.
Good to see you.
Glad to hear that Sirgibby is still active.
I remember doing something for him (forget what, scripting maybe?), and he sent me a copy of Murchison in return. Very generous.
Shame I didn't have a computer that could run it well at the time.
And Euphod was spending less and less time around here for quite a while, so I'm not surprised he left eventually.
I think he'll be back.
Just popped over to TrainzProRoutes (and I still have admin access apparently!), and it's very deserted over there, which is sad.

People with smiles are always welcome :)
Lol, thanks.

Hey Chris.
How's things?
Good to see that you're still there.
Good luck with T.A.N.E
(If you need another tester, and an outspoken one (if you remember, lol), then let me know. I'd love to help any way I could).

Smiley.

Ah, there's Ish!
Now it's a party! lol

How you doing mate?
Hope the family's well.
Can't believe most of the regulars seem to have gone.
It has been a long time I suppose. :)

Now then, StopGap3! lol

Smiley.

Hey Axe!
How you doing.
Good to see another one of the originals around.
Are you still creating routes?

Smiley.

New project StopGap3? StopGap2 was good, need Betas?
I was only joking. :)
If I thought that TS2010 or TS2012 needed something like that, then I would definitely consider it, but didn't the rules and commands system make scenario creation obsolete?

I'm currently playing around with TS2010 until I get 2012, and checking out the rule system again.
I remember getting a really good scenario going with just rules and commands a couple of years ago.
Maybe I'll put some tutorials on my YouTube channel, about creating scenario-type sessions.
If I do end up writing a new StopGap, I'll definitely let you test it for me.

I wonder if that challenge Chris made all those years ago about making a complete scenario in one rule still stands? lol :D

Smiley.

Just now saw this thread and wanted to welcome you back. Haven't seen you here in a long time, but then, I don't hang around much myself anymore. It's good to see a veteran return to say hi.

Mike

Good to see/hear from you too. I have been lurking a lot lately. Still pop in from time to time. Trying to enjoy other PC games or other interests. :)

I have a route I have been working on since 2007. As you can see from my sig it is Oxford to Queens. Although I have a TS12 version and now I am expanding it again with a TS12 SP1 version. Lol!!! There are a few previous versions of the route on the DLS. :) Plug, Plug.... Hahaha.

Regards
