For the past few days I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with the beautiful Husky Stack, Maxi Stack, and spinecars. I have the tank and hopper packs and they work fine! I tried to download the bogeys from cloakedghost which downloaded but for some reason the cars still don't work. I also downloaded the container pack from JR. Tell me what is wrong! The CMP says it is faulty so what is wrong?

the only problem i found with the spine cars is the trailer Kuid2:113556:300000:1. it shows as a error but does not effect the spine car use.
i run 09 on compatibility mode so i haven't seen anything wrong with the well cars or the containers,nor has the cmp.
you might try redownloading the units again.

Since these are trainz-build 3.1 cars I wouldn't expect them to work in 2006. Maybe its time to upgrade.

I am "back-leveling" them to trainz-build 2.4 (TRS2004 SP4) and is only having problems with the "A" car of the Mark-IV well cars. ARN won't work, for some reason. The others are OK.
 
Okay, let me know when they are done because I am dying to use these. I bought trainz 2010 from steam and I don't like it because 1, the trees look all bulky unless you get real up close and 2, because there are only 7 or 8 built-in routes. So I'm gonna stick with Trainz 2006 with all of my content. All also want to know how long will it be before all jointed rail payware will be in only trs 09 and 10 because I will probably be buying a lot soon so I hope for the content to stay 04 and 06. Can I transfer all of my content in 06 to 10? Lots of questions I know but please answer them to your best ability.

ok, let me try to help you.

these cars use a script function that will not work in anything below 2009. if you want the assets to be backdated that is a long process.

cloakedghost has nothing whatsoever to do with these cars.

Okay, I guess I can wait for UP6936 to wait and I thought cloakedghost had something to do with it because it looked like his cars, oh well.

The scripting has to go, it doesn't work when "back-leveled". If you need it or not is of course up to you, if you just want a very realistic model and don't care about whatever functionallity the scripting gives you (what functionallity is it, really? It is not described anywhere!) it's no problem.

I have been "back-leveling" hundreds of assets, mostly locomotives and rolling stock, to trainz-build 2.4 (TRS2004 SP4) and have had very few problems. I have never failed with any asset I have tried so far. That does not mean that every asset can be "back-leveled", of course. The only assets you can not "back-level" are maps from higher versions, they are in a new format.

All I want is a really realistic model without functionality. It would be awesome if you could PM me the back-leveled model that would be great. :)
 
I disagree. It's not a very long process at all once you realize what you have to change. But you loose the functionallity of the scripts that do not work in older versions.

its long enough that i dont want to explain it or even do it for that matter.
