Hello:
I'm missing some Jointed Rail freeware rolling stock.
I don't want to DL every freeware to find 2 cars
or waste time looking for them on net.
I think there some kind of hopper.

Please don't take this wrong, but I don't want to DL unless i know for sure.
I have way to much stuff to sort thru now.

I know for a fact the first one is the JRPX tanker with the red band. It definitely isn't in the 17 pack, so it must be in the mega pack. And given the two's close kuid proximity, there's a really good chance the other will be in there too. You'll have to pick up that pack anyway if you want the first one.

it is too bad there is no way to export a complete list of all KUID numbers on a system, save it to .TXT or print it to a .PDF or similar. Then we can have a way to say, "look at the list, see if that item resides there", and if done this way, can also be easily researched.

well, at some point i was going to write something that would scan the cdps and make a list of kuids in them so that they can be put on the site... too bad i have lots of other things to do.

Ok thanks..I guess that's what delete is for:hehe:

Yep. I'll even do the little scanning thing for ya. *starts to actually think* Oh wait, I don't know jack squat about scripting. Nevermind!
No, I will search out each and every kuid on the site, write them down, then send a notepad showing what they are. It might take a while, but you could get the same results!

This is something I started to do, however projects got in the way and I have not been able to get back to it.

Thanks,

Mike

PS: You can drop KUID's into the search bar at the top right hand side of the site. If they are listed, it will take you to that item. The whole idea is to eventually have every KUID listed so it can be searched this way. Google should also pick these up as well.

what is the proper format to drop KUID's into the search bar at the top right hand side of the site? Should it be this example: kuid:12345:00000 or should it be this way: <kuid:12345:00000> or just the numbers? Thanks.

without brackets most likely. most of the dependencies do have this tagged to them, but individual cars have not all been evaluated. the tanks in question are probably in one of the big packs, but if he doesn't really want an answer and just wants to complain about wasting time that is up to him.

oh btw dont forget if you want you can always tag them yourself.
