Jointed Rail Payware problem

Check if there are any open assets in Content Manager and commit them. That happens if you overwrite assets.

Good Morning FlashIsisMayia
If you are asked to overwrite any files, please click on 'skip all'. In particular if you are asked to overwrite built-in content.

In regards to missing dependencies, please first check that you have downloaded all dependencies that are on the Download Station. To do this, please right click on the locomotive in Content Manager, then click on 'download'. This will add the loco, and any DLS dependencies, to the 'download helper' panel. When you are ready to download, simply click the button marked 'start'.

If any missing dependencies are not on the Download Station, then you will need to contact JointedRail via their website ( http://www.jointedrail.com/ ) at this stage. We are working with JointedRail to resolve these missing dependencies, however this is taking a bit longer than expected. In the mean time JointedRail will be able to assist you with locating them.

Regards

Make sure you have the following. These would be the only dependencies you could be missing outside of whats in the CDP.

We keep them out of the CDP due to the commonality of these assets across multiple locomotives.

http://jointedrail.com/index.php/emd-widecab-t1-ts12.html
http://jointedrail.com/index.php/16-710-engsound-ts12.html
http://jointedrail.com/index.php/dependencies/train-fx-library/train-fx-library.html

As Zec said we are working towards getting all of the "parts" if you will on the DLS in the future.

I tried what you said but train photo/info won't show up in Railyard Screen and if I scroll down the train list in surveyor mode...it's my only "red" train in the list.

Then it could be something else. Look in content manager itself, find this item in there and see if your still showing any missing dependencies still ( the ? next to something when you right click and select view dependencies.

You also may have the item open for edit by chance as well so double check your Open for Edit tab in content manager as well to make sure nothings open.

Any chance to link me to a working version of this payware:( What exactly did I download for $7.50? I still can't get the .cdp to work. It shows red in the train list and has no preview pic in the Railyard. My 1st payware loco and it's not going well. I thought payware included all the files needed to run. If I send you my Proof of Purchase, can you link me to a working version of my payware.

I actually had asked you to do the following in a previous post which is what needs to be done to assist further at this time.

"Then it could be something else. Look in content manager itself, find this item in there and see if your still showing any missing dependencies still ( the ? next to something when you right click and select view dependencies.)

JointedRail itself does not have access to your records of our products purchased from SimCentral. Check the above and let us know....or send an email to our support email address at the site and we can assist from there and keep it off the forum. You will however need to do as we instructed above, there is no way around this. Without seeing exactly what your content manager looks like for this asset we really dont have a solid way of diagnosing the issue, so we need to go thru some basic things first as I noted above.

as far as i know everything comes in one file, where are you searching to find said additional files?
I was using google which eventually linked me back here in an old JointRail thread which then linked me to another link which was to the Payware section of the JointRails site. This bnsf.cdp file was not in the dependencies file area, it was in payware. Now I need to fix the cn_c40 faulty error, any ideas? I emailed JR for help.

yes, more info. All of the shells comes with the locomotives they belong to, not as separate files. The cab parts are because they are version specific, but since you said you got them from simulator central you should have had all of the files.
