Jointed Rail - CONTEST

Yes A units by themselves are just fine. We did not want this to be too picky of a contest, mainly just to get some people to do some reskins and test their skills. It's also a good chance for those who normally do not purchase payware, to have a shot at winning some! Best of luck to all of you who enter. Winners will be announced by June 22, 2009.

Yup, I am a proud judge in this contest and I look forward to seeing everyone's submissions and working with the crew at jointedrail + Illinoiscentral! ^^

You know, I did not think I would be accepted as a judge and I almost thought I shouldn't try but I did and I was selected! What I'm trying to say is that even if you think your reskin isn't the best, be sure to try for this contest!

Good luck to everyone! Be sure to submit your entries on time!

Can we add extra sub-meshes to the model? Such as adding a number plate or name plate to the side of the loco?

ok, before it gets too late into Friday ;)

What time is the contest actually finishing today? Please give time zone so I can convert ;)

ok cool; so I still have time to figure out how to tweak the ARN...

Oh got a question: If I have an A & B unit should I submit them as 1 entry or 2? (I'm guessing 1)

Great job everyone! Judges will receive a $10.00 coupon. All other contestants will receive a 50% off total price coupon for use at our site.

Coupons will be delivered by email. To redeem, make your store selection and view your cart, place coupon code in the space provided and press submit. Your new total will then be calculated. Percentage off coupons are good for one purchase, cash coupons can be used until they are empty. Excludes other offers. Void where prohibited. etc etc.

Congrats to all!

I just wanted to say that it was my pleasure to be a judge in this contest (you all made it very hard for us! =D There were so many great reskins to choose from!) and that I thought you all did very very well. I hope all of you who entered will allow us to use your reskins (so long as you credit Justin accordingly of course!) as I would be proud to use each and every one of them.

As well, I'd like to thank the folks at jointedrail for hosting this contest, for being fair, prompt and for being very generous with the prizes/rewards for those who won/helped to judge. May you have many many years of success to come!

I would like to say thanks to JointedRail for hosting the contest. I had a great time doing these reskins :)

As well, a huge thank you to Justin for making the F7's (and their reskin kit) available...

And thank you to all who entered. It was great seeing some truly original liveries in there :)

I'd like to echo Gisa's post there.
I really enjoyed this from start to finish.
Judgement day was not at all easy, I somehow expected more people to enter, but hopefully, Jointed Rail will do this again in the near future.

I really want to tell all of you who entered that you did a great job and I sincerely hope you will consider entering again if Jointed Rail does this again.

Congrats to S301!
When I was judging, I knew as soon as I saw that V/Line unit that it was premium, I liked it for what I saw in it, a certain pride of your countries railways, creativity and an eye for detail. The plow weathering really stood out to me.
Once again, great work Zec.

I'll go ahead and close now with one last statement, and that is that I hope you will all keep up with Jointed Rail, as I feel many exciting things are happening over there and I hope you will consider purchasing their payware soon!
I want to thank Justin, Mike and Everybody at Jointed Rail!
I also want to thank my good friend Gisa.

Here is to all of you,
Woody:cool:
