Never in my years of enjoying the transition from steam to diesel (mostly electric in japan, love me some super rainbow ef81s!... and just ef81s in general, love to see some high quality ones for trs19 and up one day.) would I ever think to see hatsune miku be referenced in trainz at all... This is coming from someone who enjoys trainz from thomas tank content, mind ye!

I actually have a miku driver character and mesh
It's was the "desktop mate miku" from sketchfab. I drop her into blender made her sit optimize her mesh and export.
Unfortunately I can't share or release her because... Copyright
But she might make an appearance in my next project screenshot

I've seen so many thomas content on the dls I bet it could somehow slip the cracks...

True but those are considered dependencies like coupling meshes, enginesound, and, library. not the actual Thomas models
The Thomas characters themselves are copyrighted however things like the enginesound and couplings are not they are considered copyrighted property under the Thomas IP
The enginesounds came from universal studios SFX Library and couplings have existed long before all the Thomas stuff

Even though she's copyrighted the terms are she is free to use for "non commercial purposes" since I am absolutely not making any money from distributing miku on the DLS I think i might release her anyways and maybe on the RSR website too

Copyright in this case would apply only if you make money out of it, so yes, by all means you can go ahead and upload it on the DLS.
(Please do, we need more cute drivers!)

If the miku gets uploaded i'll find a usb (or free up storage, bye bye old 06 thomas tank slop in '09), put blender on it, AND try to do an animated driver. been meaning to learn blender, wonder how NV3 made those animated driver icons?

Also see the keimei style of thumbnails ALMOST nailed to a tee. Trainz 2019 is currently 20 USD on the trainz store. Pretty sure the version in the installer is sp4, which is what I use.

I think I can't do that now she's in the unprocessed area and I can't abort now. Since it will take another 2 days from uploading to being publicly listed on the DLS.
And you know compatibility, I use CCP to make all my custom assets weather it be locomotives Meshes and other dependencies I want the config files to be clean and easily editable.
