Japan

I have the fixed edition for Trainz 12 post sp1 nearly ready now. At the moment I'm including the new sessions.

V2.1. includes:
- tunnel fixes.
- deleted all strange buildings around To Shin Mitsu.
- Redesigned To Shin Mitsu a bit.
- Redesigned To Shin terminal a bit so that everything looks a bit more tidy
- A few new track markers here and there.

The 4 sessions from v 2.0.

I will upload the fixed route this week.

Beware that Electro Island v 2.1. is only for sp1 and higher and
is only tested at build 61388.
Users of pre sp 1 builds should be able use Electro Island 2.0

I had bad performance on this build but after including my personal trainzoptions from the old build + some new options to improve performance from the wiki in the user directory of build 61388 the performance went up.

I will post my settings of trainzoptions in this thread when v 2.1. is uploaded. But maybe you don't have such an old system as mine. :). (an old dual core from 2008/2009 I believe)

In other news. I had fun with painting the E5. Here's another variant. I was looking for an Colden Shinkansen livery. This is a possible candidate :). Although later I have swapped the colors so it is less deep blue. I have also made an E5 Shinkansen engine sound which I will upload also this week along with my Shinkansen 0 engine sound.

Well... i cant say that i have a better performance... and my PC is pretty highend... but eh... Nice Shinkansen and yeah... my tip would have been a bit less deep blue xD

Titanicchristo: good luck, it looks like an nice area to recreate

Pagroove: Interesting livery, it looks an bit like the train drawings of the Los Angeles high speed project.

Have been able to do quite an bit on my route last week and here are some results of it, first another area finedetailed.

nice touch with the backdrop and shelf acella!! You changed the train that was on the statue. what type is that one?
I took a break form working on my route. I've only got one mile to go before reaching the terminal. I've download your route pagroov and form what I've seen so far my tunnels are pretty much intact except I'll have to get the double deck bridge and some land textures. I had to move some buildings out of the way. and I've had the same problem with those row houses in the middle of the ng tracks south of Toshin. Also stumbled upon a quiet little town and the construction of a new line deep in the mountains. That maid cafe must be really hot cause I've spotted some maids on my route driving around in fancy sports cars!! LOL!!
take care!!

Marinemania your JRE231 and 331 horn & engine sound is great... one problem it makes he train disappear:confused:, Could you post the configure text, I have a feeling it's how I'm adding the Kuids to the configure text.

Well when I attach the horns I only modify the hornsound, My config.txt file looks this way. I also add the kuid number to the kuid list. I work in the Content Creator Plus to edit content, however this is what the config.txt looks like once I'm done. What's in the parentheses is how it would appear if you used the CCP. It also seem that you are using the TS mac software, what is your version's build number?

I replace the horn sound and then I include it in the kuid list.

Electro Island v 2.1. available along with sessions. Remember: only SP 1 and higher for this release. Minor differences with V 2.0 (which is for Trainz 12 pre sp1).

Changelist:

- Corrected the tunnel connections
- Deleted ghost buildings around To Shin Mitsu
- Added some track marks around Colden to prevent TGV's bound for Colden from entering the yard
- Added switches on the To Shin Blue line to make it more versatile

Don't know for the future for now which version I'm going to support further because I find the performance on a Trainz build 61388 slightly worse than pre SP1 on my machine.

Shinkansen 0/100/200 sound available

- Should work on all Trainz 12 versions

@Pagroove:

All my sessions (2.0 and 2.1) of Elecrto island are missing the following:

Error: Dependency <kuid2:64577:8702:6> is unknown.
Error: Dependency <kuid2:64577:8703:6> is unknown.

Do you know what these are, and where to find them?

Thanks,

Bill

64577:8702:6 = Open nose command by genesteal
64577:8703:6 = Close nose command by genesteal

This are rules that come with the Payware add on by Le France en Trains edition speciale packs. http://www.lafranceentrains.com/lab...id=95&osCsid=b672bd09a523851e85f73bfc226853d1

I have probably left them in the sessions and forgot to remove these commands. BTW if your computer can handle it I do recommend these TGV's. Although they are heavy on performance.
