Never mind. As it seems, Trainz decided to erase all the progress I made on the route yesterday. Looks like I have to start all over again. :'(

What do you mean by deleted? How does Trainz delete it? Chances are, either you deleted it or you've moved it somewhere and forgotten, or you've moved it unintentionally

It appears that most of the route was saved to a session, and when I deleted the extra session most of the route was erased from existence. I decided I shall start from scratch.

Been there, done that one already, make sure when working on the route that that the route layer is selected and I lock the session layar.

some more pics form my old japan layout in Trainz 2006 and a pic of the 321 being tested on the kiha japan route.
I was wondering if there are any interactive japanese container stations that handle the japan containers just like the 20 and 40 ft intermodel container terminals

I know JR freight isn't all that popular but it is a crucial element of JR rail..(to some degree I guess). It would be cool to have some animated container cars and a terminal. enjoy!!

@Railshuttle. Very nice pics. Good to see some of your route.
@Keimei: Sad to hear that your new trains keep getting rejected. IMO you make the best trains around because you also think of a good passenger interior.

thanks. sadly the route got wiped out due to a virus so the pictures are all that's left. I may try to remake it in twelve. but I'm not sure if the 113 train will work on 12. the latest pics feature the "wrapping trains" I recently downloaded and ran on the Kiha layout. I got kinda bored watching the trains go round and round and decided to add an extention which you can see in one of the pics. I wanted to make the kiha layout modular so it can be merged with other routes and give the long distance trains somewhere to go off the layout. the rest are form my old japan route . the west island line which ran along the coast.

Here I will put some screenshots of the Tokyo - Hakone route in Trainz 12. For use with Odakyu Line trains.

This first one is the Odakyu line terminal at Shinjuku station.

Here is Chiyoda line metro with the Odakyu line 4000 series.

This last one is the incline to Yoyogi-uehara. (Chiyoda line in the center)

The route extends a couple stations past this point and more are constantly being added.

Exactly my inspiration! I am using satellite imagery to get proper curve radius, track and platform lengths, and gradients. The only thing it can't tell me is speed zones! D: It would be fantastic to get more Odakyu line trains for Trainz. It could complete the whole experience to see 7000 romancecars zipping around Shinjuku. ^-^ Anyways, I am working on the route daily to fit in the entire length of the line to the best of my abilities.

well If I was to take a wild guess I think the trains run slower in the city than they do in the countryside. Sounds like you're really gonna go all out on this one. well good luck to you and take your time. the 7000 remancers would be a great treat to see if someone makes them.

Wish this thread were more lively :(

Japan Railways is simply not so popular or well-known in the world, except that it runs exactly on time.

American, German, British, Czech and Slovak, Russian and Ukrainian are the most widespread Trainz community.

Our Czech community has also been slowly shrinking.

Tomorrow I will post here some screenshots of progress on my japanese map.
