Ok thanks. My only regret is that I was unable to attach the west Sanito layou to it so the Shinkansen route could be extended westward.

The Asama E2 N Sets on the Nagano Shinkansen (Also the scheme the E2 J Sets Had back then)

Confused, your birthday is tomorrow but you are turning 13 Saturday? In any case happy birthday! 55 years ago, when I turned 13, my Dad built a Lionel three rail O gauge layout in my bedroom. It was so big that my bed slid under it and my clothes went into drawers built into the pedestals. Hope all your wishes come true.

I've been revamping Railshuttle's lost SIRL Route. I've now got some scene's that are worth showing.
Credits go to Railshuttle for his large route..
Shinkansen LN300 (LN=Long Nose) ride from Brown Shopping mall to South Union.
I've done some mayor redesigning on this route as well as making a connection part that can be connected in the future to the Icarus Gulf Region. I added mountain ranges,deserts etc. I also did some reaglignment on the Shinkansen tracks.
The SIRL Area lies South of the lake Kadoma (see my blog post on the Icarus Gulf Redion "The World around Electro Island" which has a map).

As usual some amazing stuff on this thread.
Just out of interest, are there any of the Japanese tourist trains or cruise trains anywhere. I've seen the one on Rizky's site which I downloaded but there are some pretty nice trains out there (7 stars of Kyushu anyone?) that would be cool to have in game if they're available somewhere?

Happy birthday Shinkansen 500 series your 17 years old 2/28/2010(19). You will be forever in our hearts.
Brief little history: In 1995 JR West started announcing the JR500 to the Sanyo Shinkansen. Construction has started and ended in 1997 (rebuilds in 2001?) after that; In 1997 JR500's started service. on the Sanyo Shinkansen From Shin-Osaka to Hakata. It was the First Shinkansen to top 300 km,h. Till November of 1998 where they began service on the Tokaido Shinkansen from, Tokyo to Hakata. again in 2001 JR West, and Central Started rebuilds. In 2007 With the Release of N700 Series Trains, the JR500 Became withdrawn from the Tokaido Shinkansen. Not so short till they became With drawn from the Sanyo Shinkansen. In 2008 JRW Started building the V-8 car Sets for Kodama and some Hikari Services for the Sanyo Shinkansen. In February, 28, 2010. The Last run of the 16 Car W-Set JR500 was performed, Many railfans cried of cheer for this Train.
JR500 Nozomi will forever be in our hearts.
