hi all
just wondering can the ja file from earlier versions just be copied into 2010 and 2012 say the ja files from 09.

You can - search the forums for more about this - Shane might have a guide for it.
The trick is you then need to add the serial numbers for your older versions to the product key list - found under options on the front menu.
Do a data base rebuild and Doug's my uncle. <after you have copied the files of course>

And if I have given the wrong info some smart person will come along and put what I have said right .

You can add .ja files from TS2009/TS2010 into TS12, and the TS2009 .ja file into TS2010. It's not possible to do it with pre-TS2009 versions as it will reject the serial number.

jax will unpack *.ja 2004 thru 2006 maybe 9 and 10 I don't have it.
I'm sure if it is a *.ja file it will unpack it....beware it will unpack all of it.

Remember they are old asset/routs and may /will need fixing.

The menu and text are in german but EZ to figgre out
