It's worse than ever before!!

Now when I launch trainz 2010 all I get is a small tab that displays the build number nothing else. What do y'all think I should do?

Try loading it from a diffrent way (Example)Desktop might work,or go to auran folder and lanch TS2010 from there.

Sorry to say this, I had the same problem too. It was only fixed when I did a complete re-install of the game. It happened after I killed a patch half way through. It took a day to uninstall, reinstall and patch, but it was worth it, as my game is now build 44088 and works.

and are you installing service packs as well
what antivirus are you using
what version of windows are you running

what you stated just happend to me it fixed its self

It is my beliefe that trainz may be doing a database repair....
If this is the case the hard drive LED will be flashing even though nothing may appear to be happening it is. Start trainz and walk away from the computer for 3 hours or overnight.
Under launched options developer I've turned on show database process window and once your trainz sorts itself out I recommend you do the same

Last time I heard that problem mentioned on the forums, it was due to a patch being cancelled.

As I always would say:

If you cancel a patch, you must re-install Trainz.

You know that in the past, (I had to walk nine miles to school, up hill, in the snow in both directions) the patches didn't even indicate the progress as they installed?

At least now we can see that they are still working, albeit slowly.
