I joined this Trainz community.

It's been a fun ride, with ups and downs, a few side tracks along the way but always enjoyable. Thanks Auran for making it all possible.

I've met many interesting people during my voyage with Trainz, most online but quite a few during the various ToTR events. Hello and greetings to one and all. :wave:

I've been able to stretch my creative wings and make many interesting, useful and fun objects that I needed for my routes. What was the icing on that cake was being able to share them with the worldwide Trainz community and discovering that other people wanted them too, as over 4.4 million downloads have shown.

Now that there is a new Trainz coming down the track with a second one following, it would appear that the ride is far from over. In fact it sounds like it will get even more exciting. :udrool: See you all at the station

Congratulations martinvk, yes 6 years is a long time, I hope not to forget my 6th Trainz Birthday as well.

Many thanks for all your creations, helpful threads and replies. I hope the future of our "Trainz Wonderland" continues for many years to come and that we are all here to enjoy it in some form or another.

As all the above, congratulations Martin for well done service and company for this years.

I wish I knew how long I been here, actually, it might not be that important, but your post prompted me to check when I first was able to see Trainz for my self on the computer.
I bought "Trainz - Virtual Railroading On Your PC (version 1.1)" 17.10.2002 and was probably deep into it by a week later (I bought it on a trip back home so the computer wasn't that near me).

So, I guess I have at least 2,25 months before I can first have joined the forum - hmm, glad to see I'm not that old... LOL

Years passes by, Trainz been a favorite program for a long time, and TRS2009 looks so promising that I guess many of us will stay here even longer.

Thanks Martin for a chance to remember where we all came from.

Congratulations Martin. I've always enjoyed your help, your content and your posts. I do think; however, that in six years with Trainz you might have learned one additional thing. We take journeys on trains. Voyages are taken on ships. :hehe:
