Issue I cannot seem to resolve

I have an issue in my route that is so puzzling. I have included a diagram below and I will attempt to explain my problem.
TrainzDiagram-1.jpg

I have an industry located several blocks down the line. I have added a "Drive Via Bypass Industry" to all trains that do NOT use the industry. Now, there are several signals between this "Drive Via" and Signal 1. However, if there is a train between Signal 1 and the "Drive Via" (Train "B" for example), Train "A" will NOT drive forward until Train "B" has reached or gone past the "Drive Via" marker, EVEN IF ALL SIGNALS between are green.

Can someone explain what is wrong here? I have racked my brain trying to solve this irritating problem. I have ripped up all track and laid fresh track, changed out my signals, etc., but the trains all behave this same way.

Looking at your diagram you seem to be missing signals at the two sets of points to the industry. I have just tried it as per the diagram and got the same result. Adding signals at the points two at the exit and two more further down the line seems to cure the problem. Maybe an oversight on your behalf.

Technically correct, but shouldn't signal three be at red, as train B is occupying the signal block between signal three and four? As for the problem, I'd put signals at the ends of the industry track (one either end) and one at either end of the bypass track (unless its all one-way signalling), then you would only need one on the bypass track, and one on the industry track, in direction of travel, at the furthermost ends, then more further along the single line section (for extra 'blocks').
