ISS Speed Signal Problem

I have started using the ISS Speed Signals on my route layout lately and am having quite a few problems with them. It seems that when I place a signal on a switch junction to slow to say 20MPH, it does slow my train down, but it seems to stay with the train on down the track, even though I set the speed back to 35MPH after it goes through the junction. This seems to happen with a lot of my junctions. I have tried everything I can think of to get the speed back up. In some places it does seem to come back up, but in others it doesn't. I have tried the dummy junctions that are in the trains/0catch.com tutorial, but it doesn't seem to change anything. That tutorial is the best I have run into, it is great. I am wondering if maybe on my route layout I just have things in too small of an area. Some of my signals and junctions are very close together. This is my first laytout and I have 11 industries on an area of 8X4 baseborads. I am running single track in more or less of an oval configuration. The ISS speed signals would be great if I could just get them to work properly. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated....Thanks.....

Just some added information. I am running TS2010EE and am running my trains in the AI mode. Just need some help in being able to control the speed of my trains. Thanks.....:)

Watch the end of the train

After passing a lower speed limit a train will not speed up again until the last car passes the limit sign. Same thing on reaching a higher speed limit, no increase until the last car is past the sign. This is prototypical of RR Rules.

Try moving your higher limit 1 train length beyond the ISS.

Thanks Irving, I guess I am a little confused. Isn't the limit sign the ISS signal itself? I have found out that the increase does take place when the last car crosses the ISS signal. In some areas the train never does increase like it should after going a train length. I thought that I could place the ISS signal just after a junction onto the main line and thought that when the last car passes over the ISS it would increase, but I have been dissappointed that it doesn't. Although I have some in places like entering the yard where I place an ISS signal at 15MPH on the yard entrance track and when the loco hits the ISS it slows to 15MPH right away. How do you know which ISS will do what? I am learning and I sure appreciate the help.....

Try this place your iss (10M) before your switch (name of switch 1) set the iss to junction 1 foward speed whatevery (35)now if your IND is to the left then set speed15.
If your IND track gose thru put a speed sign(35) just pass your IND. Your train should pick up speed just after it load's/unloads.
and your should not slow down while still on main line.

Thanks Danny5, for the info. I did place my ISS about 10M from the junction and it is working fine now. I think I was just placing my ISS signals too far away from the junctions. I sure appreciate your help....
