Don't forget that it can be a train simulator where you sit and drive too! Plenty of awesome locomotives out there to play with from places like Jointedrail, USLW, the DLS (n8phu has recently fixed some kewlio stuff and put it on the DLS), and RRmods! Graphics are great, you'll find that they maybe don't meet up with Railworks' graphics, but they have come a long long way since TRS 2004 when I started playing back when supergaming computers weren't near as common as they are now. Since I have paid the $$ for the TRS2012 it has provided many many hours of enjoyment. I would give it a try, you may find yourself having many many hours of fun, because the limit of what trainz can do is your imagination itself. and I hate to be a bit of a promoter, but you could give this a place a look over which has both Railworks and Trainz screenshots so you can compare graphically.... http://railfan-photoshop.weebly.com/This only scratches the surface of what can be done. There are so many aspects of the program that it's more like a real model railroad than a train simulator that you just sit in and drive.
