Is there a way to display arrival times?

I would like to know how long it takes for a train to reach a given destination (town, station, etc.) in a session. Is there anyway to program the time to be displayed and/or recorded?

I've needed this kind of information on my route for setting up timings and schedules in sessions and the only way I could do it was to run an AI train and have a stopwatch and paper handy, or keep an eye on the time in Trainz.

Pretty tedious on a long route but thats the only way i know.

Maybe there is a better way, hence I am subscribing to this thread.

could you not just use the distance that it has to travel and the average speed that you expect the train to be moving? That's what I do...it also helps that my route is a prototype and I have actual timetables!

On that note, How can I make my passenger trains run a time table? For example leave the station at X time and arrive at the other at Z time. I saw there's a 'drive schedule' option in but I can't get it to work.

get the timetable rule or a scheduling rule...they work great sorry I don't have any specifics but just search schedule on the DS or timetable on the DS and you'll find them!

there are at least three driver commands on the DLS which will wait until hour/minute or both.
