Is there a "Ruler" in 2022?

I am also scratching my head trying to figure that one out as well. Currently I am jumping back into S1 to add and adjust rulers. A search of the Forums revealed nothing on the matter of adding rules.

Yes, Imperial ruler and Metric ruler are available as spline objects in both versions of surveyor now. Interestingly, they can be used to measure curves now by adding more than two spline points.

Hi guys, thank you for your reply's. sorry guys I still can't find this "Ruler" can you tell me how I can find it please?

Regards

Harry

In Surveyor 2.0, Pick the track icon in the asset panel on the left and then put ruler in the search field. In Classic, it is on the Objects panel, click on the right box at the top of the panel to enter spline mode. Then change the yellow text to read ruler.

Sorry I just checked and this sentence should read In Surveyor 2.0, Pick the Scenery Spline icon in the asset panel on the left and then put ruler in the search field.

Thank you both for that. Mystery solved. But it seems I will have a learning curve to master these new rulers.

Thank you guys for your help. I agree we need a bit of tine to get used to them, but I think it's a maguro improvement.

Regards

Harry

PS what other goodies can we find down there?

The great thing about the ruler spline in S2.0 is that you can get much more accurate measurements than the one in Classic. Also, if you have S2.0, you can use these rulers in Surveyor Classic as well.
