If so definitly they should make it so it can take advantage of dual cpu video cards, what do you think
There really is no need for dual GPUs in trainz. Heck some people even say there is no need for SLI etc period and that it is just a marketing scam to get people to think that 2,3, or 4 is better then one. Which isn't always the case.If so definitly they should make it so it can take advantage of dual cpu video cards, what do you think
I have run trainz in both SLI & CROSSFIRE and it does make a hell of a difference ,
1.....i think the only reason Auran would 'nt change the engine in trainz is because to many people would think that they needed to update there computers to play the game
2.... therefor sales of the game would 'nt be high,
3....however most people do update there computers every 2 to 3 years .
Single video cards are great on the smaller routes but when it comes to a big route sli or crossfire is a must.
4....As for the future of trainz Auran should move to take advantage of all tech that is avalible as soon as possible ,why,Auran has done alot of work over the years and put alot of money to the investment of trainz ,
5....in this cut throut world it would be east for another company to come in and create a new updated train sim ,
6....i am know tech head but if a big game software company wanted to do this Auran could lose half there profit at least from trainz and could be far more .
just my view
Why do they have to create there own game engine when they can use an existing one. Such as the one created by Epic Games. Unless there is no game engine that would allow a game such as Trainz to be built, but changing small things to allow this is stile cheaper then creating from scratch.1....Who would fund N3V to pay for a new game engine?
most old people hate progress it leaves them behind
have fun
