I have a MacBook late 2008 model. I am considering purchasing Trainz for Mac. I just want to know what kind of performance I might get out of Trainz.
My system specs:
MacBook late 2008 model
4GB RAM (apple upped it from 2GB)
Mac OS X 10.6.8
640GB internal hard drive (soon to be partitioned for lion and windows7 boot camp)
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics
256MB VRAM (Total) (by the way, what does VRAM mean, and what does the "total" mean?)
Intel Core2Duo 2.0GHz processor
Just a few questions:
What kind of Frames Per Second am I looking at?
If I buy it from the Mac App Store, can I get the serial number, or do I even need it at all?
Would it be better to wait until I got lion?
If I buy it from auran.com is there a return policy (is the auran.com digital download policy different from the boxed copy policy)?
Does the download station exist for macs?
Are my TRS2006 for windows xp assets compatible with Trainz for Mac
Any other info you need or anything else I should know, just post.
