Is Locomotion available anywhere?

Wonderfully Old Fashioned
For those of you who don't know what it is/what I'm on about....read this quick Wiki Extract.---Locomotion is an early British steam locomotive built for the Stockton and Darlington Railway. Built by George and Robert Stephenson's company Robert Stephenson and Company in 1825. It was the first one to run on a passenger carrying line.----

I think John Whelan made some of the earlier steam locomotives. Check the black pages if you need to.

Any good?

Similar style and vintage, by steveflanders, is:

Catch-me-who-can <KUID:169585:2021>

Catch-me-who-can tender <KUID:169585:2022>

Catch-me-who-can driving bogey <KUID:169585:50259>

All on DLS.

Blue created one or two and I updated them so Lion, Rocket and the thunderbolt are available under my name on the DLS. Steve's models are better.

Hmm, maybe if you look for <kuid:169585:50259> you'll find it. :hehe:

Try this

To get specified items from the DLS make sure you put in the correct characters.

This is how I described the bogey kuid in my illustrated post #5.

Catch-me-who-can driving bogey <KUID:169585:50259>

You could cut and paste the details of either the description, (noting that there are three hyphens and two spaces between the words); or search for the KUID. However, make sure that you have TRS2004 box selected and the correct button pressed for the search type.

If you search for Catch-me-who-can driving bogey you need to have the Title button selected.

Alternatively, if you search for the kuid it is important to exclude the start and end chevrons, and the KUID: bit. Just put in 169585:5025 but make sure the KUID search button is selected, otherwise it won't be found.

Hmm, again just type <kuid:169585:50259> in the Asset KUID search box of the CMP (v.3.7) and it shows up. Alternatively search for <kuid:169585:2021> and you get the main asset, drag this into the CMP download helper window and all dependencies are found for download.

Hmm, did have a look at the model and the missing kuid is a typo in the config of the driving bogie. Just delete asset-filename (an obsolete tag) and the wrong kuid number used in there and remove the kuid table at the bottom, both in the config.txt file. Also delete the entry catchmewhocan_driving_body.lm.txt in the mesh-table in the config.txt file as well.

If you do this the model will show up in trainz, however in cab mode not all keyboard shortcuts for driving the engine will work. For this you need to add some entries in the config of the interior asset called 'invisible' by Steve. :hehe:

Sigh. No use. I think it was more or less designed for TS2004 or 6. Thanks anyway guys. :)

All the better. This means it should still work in TS12. In 99.999999% of the cases, things imported from older versions work. Just because a KUID is missing doesn't mean that it is meant for an older version. Check the black pages DLS. The button is located at the top of the forums. The login is the same as you use to log in here.
