[SOLVED]Is keyboard.txt no longer used?

I'm hoping to find an external method of changing keyboard shortcuts. Found posts about keyboard.txt on older Trainz. It's not in TRS19. Did they get rid of that? Change it?

Thanks for your time,
Joe

It looks like it's nowhere to be found, Joe. I just searched the program folders for "keyboard.txt" and it didn't come up.

jfike, The manual that comes with TANE has a listing of all the keyboard controls - 9. Keyboard controls on page 248 in the one that comes with my DLX SP1 version. There's also a link in that section to download a pdf file with just the 2 pages with the lisitings. About half way down the page on the right hand side under downloads: http://www.trainzportal.com/product/view/trainz-simulator-a-new-era/

For TS19 - that I don't own yet - I see there is no pdf manual or separate listing of keyboard short cuts. N3V instead just point you to the Trainzwiki and from there you're on your own.
Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019 does not include a traditional PDF manual in it. Instead you can access out online wiki based manual by clicking on the 'File' menu on the launcher screen, then click on 'View online documentation'.

Looking thru the on-line documentation for TS19 I could find no complete listing of keyboard controls - only a case by case listing of single commands discussed as necessary on individual pages of some 200+ topics.

I did however find this and I'll save you a bit of trouble and point you to it: http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/Help:TRS19_Control_Settings

A similar menu is available in TANE. In TANE after you launch the game you can access it from File => Settings - on top left menu line. Maybe something similar works for TS19.

In TANE I have not yet found a way to either to copy or print out the listing from the menu that appears. Maybe a series of print screens can do it? Then print out the pictures? Has that changed in TS19?

Good Luck,
Bob Pearson
