Do a search for 22 ft hopper and so on.

Iron ore was so dense a much longer car would be able to handle the load.

Certainly on the Download Station; might also be built-in to T:ANE.

This hopper carries a wide variety of bulk loads. It is also correctly configured so that the gross weight is approximately correct irrespective of the type of commodity (most other freight cars might be correct for eg woodchips but far to heavy when carrying a more dense load).

Also check for 100t hoppers keep in mind that iron ore is one of the heaviest loads to haul, for example 20 loaded cars of iron ore would not be easy task for any engine alone, of course always depending from the gradient your route has.

Here is a table of weight factors for Trianz, it is quite old and I do not know where it came form now but I find it is fairly close to actual weight density of the varius commodities.

Yeah - that's heavy stuff dude.:hehe:

I've seen photos of DM&IR 2-8-8-4 pulling ore trains and the consists were never very long. Partly due to the car length but also due to the density of the load.

I made a series of eleven 22 ft steel hoppers. kuid2:210518:6107 and up.
I also made a wooden one for the DM&N (Duluth Mesabi & Northern) kuid2:210518:6120:1.
All have ARN and are setup for multiple products (I think - been a while).
All were originally made for TRS2004 but should go into TS2012 with few changes.
