So me and a few friends are setting up a little iPortal thing amongst ourselves. And I am curious. I have TRS10, but they have TRS06. If I download say 04 and 06 content, and they download it too so we all have the same content kuid wise. Would we be able to iProtal if only the 04 and 06 content was all we sent back and fourth?

I see no reason why it wouldn't work, but a few of the guys I'm talking with say it wouldn't because I am on TRS10. I think I have iPortatled with some one who was on 09 once in the past with no problems, but cant say for sure.

I was going to say no, but if your all using same locos+stock and you dont use an updated version it might just.
You could try with a very simplified version to test the plan. 1 to each of your mates and 1 back.

Thats what I'm thinking of doing. But I dont want to say "Hay guys lets do this lets get ready!" only to find out that it wont work and have us all get bummed out. Hence why I asked. That and none of them are on at the moment.

Make a 1 board layout up, no scenery, nothing except track+portal and 1 consist. Get your mates to do the same. Trial run it. Wont take 15 mins to get running. If that works your ok.

sorry youcan't iportal from 10 ot 06 , it willl not happen, but you can ip from 06 to 09,,, 10 can only ip to 10
