Invisible Track Sounds

Hello all,

When I run for example an aircraft , car or horse and buggy on invisible track how can I get rid of the clickety clack on the railway track sounds and just be left with the roar , vrrrrmm , or clip clop of whatever I am driving?
I have tried different invisible tracks as well as invisible roads but doesn't seem to work...

Don't yell at me if the answer is obvious as although I am not a Newbie I am definitely a Gumby....

The aircraft or vehicle needs to include this tag in the config file:

disable-extra-track-sounds 1

There is a space between the sounds and 1 above. It will remove the click clack in TRS2006 onwards, but will not remove all minor sounds. By using it in the particular vehicle, it is selective, only removing the sound from that vehicle.

My aircraft all use this tag effectively.

Is there a specific spot in the config file that the line has to go? I also wondered about this when I was experimenting with drivable trucks.

Sorry, no it does not work in TRS2004, I went by your registered versions display and assumed you were using a later version.

The line goes anywhere as long as it is not inside the mesh table or other container of the config.
