"Invisible Portals?"

I have a pair of portals that I can't seem to make go away. I don't see the regular circles marking the end of each side. I've deleted the track and other pieces around the portals, but I can't seem to get rid of them.

I am confused and frustrated. About the only thing I can think of that I know will get them to disappear is to delete the entire boards and relay all the track and redo all the scenery. I am not even sure how the portals got there.

Help!

The layers are all unlocked. I can't connect track to them. I have tried finding these portals in both route layer and session layer...the only two layers.

They must have magically turned into some other type of asset (building, spline ... etc) ?

Try deleting them under each type of surveyor tab pullout.

I had the same problem. It should have a name, even if you did not name it, as Portals are industries. Look up the name under industries, search for. The problem I had when I deleted the grid, the Portal just moved to the next grid. It is a result of deleting a fixed track object by pasting over it. It is a bug in T10 and T12 that is not upgraded to 3.7. Do a zoom out of your map and look for a grid that is not attached to any other board, sitting out there all by it self. Delete that grid and you should be able to delete the Portal. By any chance is the portal named "Granger?"
