internet portal

I thought a new portal that would let you send trainz over the internet from one layout to another far away was developed for TRS2006 does anyone know the name of it or if it will work with TRS 2009

It's called iPortal. As for if it works with 2009... I don't know for sure. There's a club of people that try to get together and do iPortal sometimes. It's at http://z4.invisionfree.com/TRS2006_IPortal/index.php? . Not many iPortal sessions have been done lately because of the holidays, but we can always use more members and hopefully will be able to have more sessions soon.

Anyways, it's quite easy as long as the iPortal server is up. iPortals allow you to send trains to other people's computers.

If you go to to that site I linked to, I believe there's a tutorial there. If not, I'll guide you through it here.
