I have tried to get my inter-modal to work with no luck. I have tried different rolling stock. Flat cars as well as auto. It will not load or unload.
Do anyone have a script to make it work.
Thank you for your advise.

intermodal problem?

Thank you Phil for the program. I have downloaded it. It does not want to open. What program do you use to open it?
Will this also work on the container crane? Because that is also not doing its job.
I have tried a lot of different thing and nothing as yet is working.

Hi Leslie --

The download from Rapidshare is a standard zip file.

If you are using Windows XP onwards double clicking on a zip file will unzip it.

Alternatively there are any number of programs, like WinZip, that will unzip it.

Inside the zip file are three pdf files. You need Adobe Acrobat to read them. Acrobat is a free download but you probably have it installed already on your PC.

intermodal problem?

Hello Phil,
I am letting you know that I did do the download this morning. I just have one problem with the program. This is that each time I go to put a trailer on the flat bed only half is on it. And the autorack does not work with trailer. Also it take too long to load a train. After waiting a minute. you can still be waiting 30 minutes late and still nothing. Any ideas would be a help.

I'm using 2009. I'm also trying to find Trailer rolling stock. Any ideas to where these could be found.
Thank you for your help.

Providing:
a). You are configuring the industry track correctly, and
b). You are configuring the freight car correctly
then everything should work. That tutorial of mine should walk you through on how to configure both (once you can actually read it).

Some time ago I did this little demonstration of configuring industries and freight cars:

http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=36842

To see how the industries are configured, click on the "?" in the Objects flyout and then click on the industry. Do the same for the rolling stock using the Rolling Stock flyout.

You will find that TOFC (Trailer On Flat Car) products are included in my ProtoLARS industry. Try using one of the smaller trailers with one of the container flats - after configuring the industry to produce and the flat car to carry.

Sorry - but if you are having problems I'd suggest you really do need to read that tutorial.

intermodal problem?

Hi Phil,
The reason I said about the problems was that I was working from tutorial.
I would read a bit of it then go and do it. until I had got to the end. I will keep trying to get ProtoLARS industry due to the content manger keeps telling me nothing to display. I did have this trouble trying to download the other track.
I did get the tracks but nothing else. I also check out the web site as well.
Thank you again for the help.
Leslie.
