Interesting Find in the English Countryside

There were about a dozen Finnish steam locos brought to the UK in the mid-1970s. Nobody seems to know why. There used to be four on the Epping - Ongar heritage railway, all in a similar condition, but three seem to have been dispersed quite recently. I imagine they have only a very slim chance of being restored to working order.

Fascinating! Thanks for the links, guys. Still, sad to see those vintage locos slowly fade away. It is the way of the world.
