Interested in finding Canadian Layouts/Routes

Lovin' trainz since 2006. Just got Trainz12 and noticed that there is not much for Canadian layouts in it compared to some older versions.

Been away from the forums for some time so I would love to hear about what Canadian layouts you guys would recommend to download for TS12.

I slightly recall a few I had back in TS2006 and would love to relive them and more. Any recommendations?

BTW... did a forum search but results didn't narrow down my interest.

Canadian Impressions comes to mind, and if you view the screenshots forum you will see several routes in development.

ISTR a semi-freelance route based on Alberta, it was quite a big route so not on the DLS. Details escape me at present.

Check out the forums for MBC - Mtns of BC

The MBC route link is described within the forum threads and it is a beautiful & detailed route of the Mountains of B.C. The route is not on the DLS, but the author's computer.

Also, the Toronto Rail Yards is part of TS2010 and TS2012.

If you go to the DLS and select TS12 only and search for routes - there are plenty to be found. UMR (Ultra Mega Route) is a large series of routes.

Thanks guys, tried a few of the newest routes on the download station. Was a bit confused as to why most of the new ones did not have sessions to go with them. Routes like Clinchfield and Indiana Western. So a guy has to set up his own session for these? Otherwise there is no trains at all on these huge layouts. Anyways I did put some trains in the layouts but it is not as fun as seeing a fully running railroad. I'm a bit newb at this so still learning.

The Toronto Rail yards I do not see as a part of TS12. I have it in my old Trains 2006. There is one on the download station but I do not see any sessions for so it is an empty layout.

Love the UMR stuff so far thanks for that tip.

Also see a new BC Railway was just uploaded so i'll try that... but again it looks like no session with the trains already on the board? (Edit - just found a session i think but finding sessions has been a hit and miss ;-) )

Would still love to hear of some fully running Canadian Layouts that are available for download. Can I download layouts that are for older versions than ts12 and have them run in TS12?
