Instant Load - several instances?

There are six instances of Instant Load in my copy of TRS22 (125735).
Is there any guidance as to which I should use?
 
My TRS22PE (build 123801) has
  1. no "Instant Load" or "InstantLoad" assets built in
  2. two "Instant Load" driver commands that are "Installed from DLS"
    • <kuid2:45324:555017:8> Instant Load Command
    • <kuid2:833171:100752:5> TCL Instant Load
  3. and two more "InstantLoad" driver commands also "Installed from DLS"
    • <kuid2:67585:1017:2> InstantLoad
    • <kuid2:67585:1022:1> InstantLoadLocos
These four are also the only "InstantLoad" or "Instant Load" driver commands available on the DLS - ignoring those older copies that have been updated - so I cannot see where you get six of them from unless from 3rd party sites or DLC.

Of those the only ones I use are <kuid2:67585:1017:2> InstantLoad (to load wagons but not locos) and <kuid2:67585:1022:1> InstantLoadLocos to only load locos (water, coal)

The 6 came from 2019 (wrong forum). BUT, despite that error, your answer provided the info I needed to pare down to those that survived to 2022. It is still a fun hobby. However at times..........

Hello ! Would you have any idea why the InstantLoad <kuid2:67585:1017:2> command is causing my trains to fail ? I'm using the latetst build of Trainz+ (126280). When using it with Quick Portal Manager from pguy. I set up QPM to deploy a container train and the first command I place is InstantLoad to load the containers. But as soon as the train is fully out of the portal, it stops and freezes. There is nothing that can be done to get it going again. This includes abandonning the route, etc. Any thoughts ?

Why are you using a instantload command with a portal.?
aren't they supposed to be able to do that them self's....?

Every train that is emited by my portal is unloaded: container trains, manifests, autoracks, etc. When I enquired here how to solve it, I was told to use InstantLoad. But now that is creating a new problem and I'm no further ahead. Any suggestions ?

just tried a idea i had................. do you add a driver to the emitted train.?

the long basic portal works doing the following....

add train & driver.
tell it to got a trackmark.(mine was outside away from the portal, just after the train had stopped coming out of the portal)
instant load at the trackmark & continue with whatever you are doing.

am using Trainz+ 128230 Build.

Interestingly, the idea partially works. I did a variation what you suggested: I halted the trains immediately upon exisiting the portal, waited 5 seconds and then IstantLoad, wait 5 seconds and proceed. It half-worked, int he sense I had no issues with a container train, but in another manifest train, the same issue occured. So it now appears to me that the issue is consist related. I'm using consists that are pre-fab, either in the game or as a DLC (I have Trainz+ 128230 Build as well). Maybe I'll try breaking apart the problematic consists to see if any of the invidual cars are older than version 3.0. Thanks for your help. :)
