Installing service pack 1

I've downloaded the service pack 1 but cannot access the installation guide. When i run the file it says it can't find the old file and then update aborted.
What am i doing wrong?

What sp1 are you trying to install TRS 04 or o6? 06 has to be install on a clean install of the game.Install the game then install the sp1. turn off all virus programs,make sure that nothing is running in the back ground,close all programs.

Afternoon,
i was abit annoyed when i wrote that post and now i read it i do think i was being abit..... abrupt.
Thanks for the welcome, to be honest i have had this game for ages and only just visited this webiste today and spent an hour downloading the pack and it didnt work and i was very aggitated.
I have the Focus version of Trainz Railway Simulator and have found that my build number isnt matching. My build number is 3337. After taking a break and reading about it i found out more. Is there a service pack for my version of the game?

Welcome to Trainz. There are various service pack 1's so it would be helpful if you gave us the version of Trainz you are trying to upgrade.

For example if it's TRS2009 SP1 then that one is a beta so this forum is not quite the best place there is a separate forum for the betas.

Like a number of forums we have a few grumpy people from time to time but on the whole its an enjoyable place to drop by.

Hi, build number 3337 is TRS2006 with SP1 already applied, so in fact you didn't need to do anything.

Is it still working ok after trying that install? If not, please post the details (error messages etc) and people here will try to assist to sort it out.
