Install New 2018 program file?

Some odd thiimgs with 2018. Keystrokes not dong what is expected, May need new install. But keep old just in case???

I am assuming that the database will not know which program (new copy or old) is using the database, If I am right the indexes are relative to the specific copy of the program and the database has no idea which is using it??? Comments?

I'm sure you mean 2019 and not 2018, but anyway.

Install your new copy.

Go through the motions of letting it do its thing and create its own database.

Once this is complete, go into the Trainz settings on the Launcher.
Click on the Internet tab.
Click on the ... in the right-hand corner of the path.

This will open up Explorer.

Browse to the location of your old database - the one you really want.

Click Select.

A quick translating tables or something like that occurs and you'll have to restart.

Do as directed and you should be all set.

Yep, I realized this morning I used the wrong date before reading msgs. Old age... Thanks for verifying my theory. Based on long ago design of a database for a Raytheon computer. THANKS
