Indust Rail TS 2010

Is it possible to get this up and running or am I wasting my time, here is the problems I have encountered.
1. LP Tunnel 1t missing, did see on a post to look for MP Tunnel track Dark, was unable to find it also.
2. 120 ft Roundhouse along with it's 5 pieces, was directed to another site only to get a "page not found," again I searched the DLS and drew a blank.
3. There are also many of the Assets/Dependents which are "out of date, CM does not recognize kuid #'s, etc."
Being new to Trainz there is much I do not understand especially when it comes to creating, I have absolutely zero experience at programing, or how or if possible to repair things such as this.
I do know that if things like this cannot be repaired or used it is a sad waste, not only of my time as there are so many necessary dependencies that one by one take all day to download even with a FCT, but all the time and effort that went into creating these layouts is just null and void, worse yet how many other unsuspecting Trainzers spend a day or longer downloading only to end up here. If someone could help with this I would really appreciate it, thank you.

Welcome to the world of trainz...

While looking over your post I'm going to make some assumptions and I may or may not be right but I'll make them anyway. Looking at your account at the top of your post it shows that you have registered UTC and Trainz 2009, I believe you're attempting to load a route created for Trainz 2010. Being that you haven't registered a serial number for Trainz 2010 there may be some content with version numbers higher than 2009 that content manager will not allow you to see since you don't appear to have a registered serial number for Trainz 2010.

That would just be my guess.

Now on to routes in general, downloading routes from the DLS can sometimes be frustrating. Sometimes route builders will use assets that are no longer on the DLS. I've actually had very few downloaded routes that were 100% perfect (including routes that I put on the DLS) so I just prefer anymore is to build routes for myself and if I release anything to the public it's just the bare maps and I allow the user to add scenery as they see fit...

Thanks for the reply, your probably right as far as 2010 not working in 09' I did try some of the older versions and had the same problem though.

Then you are into the second part of my post...

It's best to just delete the missing assets and then go into surveyor and replace them with stuff that is available that are like what's missing...

Use Download Helper

Warlord --

"IndustRail 2010" is specifically intended for use in TS2010. The 120ft turntable, for instance, while it is on the Download Station is also built-in to TS2010.

However, the route might also work in TS2009 because, at heart, it is actually a TRS2004 route that has been updated (several times, actually).

How did you search for the missing components?

I'd suggest trying this:

1. Find the route in the main pane of Content Manager. It will have a "?" against it because it is missing dependencies.
2. Drag and drop it into the Download Helper pane, top left.
3. Wait a few moments while Download Helper searches for the missing assets.
4. Click on start, and it should download all that is missing, including the turntable from the external site.

Tell me if this helps, please.

Thank you very much Phil, I will give that a try, I simply used the DSL search, then tried to type in the name then the kuid#s even tried searching through pages.

2010 & Add-on problems

I wrote the other day concerning the problems with trying to get Duchess & Blue Comet up and running , to no avail ( these were downloaded as a combe with 2010EE ) , the other problem is particularly with Milwaukee Rd Avery Drexel is the jumping frames , time delay from interior to exterior ( about 45seconds ) longer delays from interior to map ,( 1 minute or longer ) and the same on the UK Route .
Have installed new drivers , new memory , and have tried numerous suggestions , I have a simuler problem with Trainz Classics 3 ( Classics 1 & 2 work OK ) , Trainz Routes 1 , 2 , 3 , & 4 , all load accordingly but again no play .

Can someone with a whole lot more know how than I please help me .

Read this thread. One poster seems to be having the same problem with the same route, but another with much lower-end hardware (I think...) does not. I haven't played it, so I wouldn't know. Perhaps you can get together and figure out the issue. Hope this at least points you in a useful direction.

Phil I owe you big time bro,that worked great, the CM is cooler than sliced bread lol, it found and downloaded the turntable but could not fix;
1. Turntable="tag" track in the container "turn table" obsolete
2. Roundhouse Left End=unable to load image reflect tga
3. Turn Table Track= Unable to load primary texture, unable to load cobbles
4. Could not do anything to correct the 2 lars materials, it sure did fix a bunch of other stuff too again thank you.

I am at my wits end , maybe , You're right , but I'm not overly concerned with Trainz Routes or Classics , just the ones I've mentioned in the first place . Thanks anyway .and to the second , star spelt backwards is rats .

Well I know my problem is not my video card it is obsolete/broken/missing assets/dependencies, at start up it even tells me so, lol tells me to pick another layout.

Those error messages are corrected in TS2010. The work around for you is to use Compatibility Mode. Have you discovered this?
