In search of N&W steam...

Hi fellow addicts.

I am looking for some N&W steamers, freeware and payware.
I have got the Y6b´s and A´s from Paulz Trainz and now I want some smaller engines which handle the switching and the mine runs up the hollers.
I saw that there is one engine in the making, can´t wait! :-)
Passenger steamers are welcome as well, for sure....
It seems there is nothing on the DL station, but maybe I do not search for the right things.
Any suggestions are (highly) welcome.

Often my customers have some of my other steamers re-liveried into N&W, we have a few N&W fans out there that have many smaller locos in their fav RR.

Thank you for your replies!

Kon: This one is nice, but tooo old for the things I had in mind. I schould have said it, I want 50ies-Steam. But thank you.

LGB: I did not found it there. Can you provide me a direct link?

Yeah, the switchers are nice, but too small for mine-runs and locals.
But I think I am going to get them soon. When my problem with the A-Class is fixed.
I must have overread that they are come in N&W livery.... How coul I?
:-P
Thanks.

The N&W 2-8-8-2 mallets were extremely versatile locomotives that were used by the railroad not only on mainline runs, but also in pusher service, switching and general yard work (esp. in the larger coal yards), and on mine runs to medium-to-large mines in the coalfields. See, for example, this circa 1939 image of a N&W Y2a 2-8-8-2 mallet working the mine at Eckman, West Virginia, or this image showing a N&W mallet working the huge mining operation at Gary, WV, which at one time was the largest coal-prep plant in the world.

I know that... I´ve seen all Dvds of the Pocahontas Glory Series from Herron. I just want to have something else, ´cause just Y6b´s and A´s are not enough to create a prototypical rooster.... At least I think so.
But thanks for your reply!

Gesh, you had to dig VERY deep to bring this one up!
:)

There are those old A classes from Paulz Trainz, that it, as far as I know.

Better than starting a brand new thread ... for a simple question ... I use the Advanced Search pane to find related topics ... I wish everyone did too !

Is there any other N&W #1218 than on Paulz Trainz ? His locos seem a bit non-detailed, and need additional payware weathering charge
