Improve game, and overall laptop performance using Driver Booster by IObit?

Go on a search engine like google and ty0e in RAZER Gaming Booster. There should be site for the booster before is was integraded in with the driver booster.

Game Booster will work as advertised, but not to the extent that you think it would. It turns off background tasks, some security settings and other stuff that's not needed for operation. Be careful and watch what it turns off! I found that out the hard way when it turned off the NVidia stuff and I had awful performance issues afterwards. After I figured out what it had done, I ensured that it did turn those things off and just did the other unnecessary stuff that gets loaded with the system all the time.
Driver Booster may, or may not, work. This will go out and search for the latest, and sometimes the not so greatest, drivers for your motherboard, video card and other components. The problem is some older hardware, especially on a laptop, don't always like the newer drivers and tend to develop a bad case of indigestion.

I tend to find game booster is too extreme as it stops system download updates (so you could use it on your over night EDR's John:hehe

As far as I know typing in red to get ones message across is not breaching the COC but quoting it to others is !!!!!

Pretty sure it would take far more than typing in red to even get a warning if others can use abusive swearing and only get a warning.

Last night I followed the link that NSWGR sent me and downloaded the Razer Game Booster. I'll try it again now but in terms of performance, it didn't really do much. I'll be honest, the driver booster did more (before it ruined the textures) so I'm debating trying the driver booster again, then fixing the texture compression after installing it. At least I know I can revert back again if it doesn't work
Also, lets all be friends here, come on. No silly arguments. It'll only get us all into trouble.

On the subject of using a game booster or similar, I have Puran Utilities installed on my Zoostorm gaming PC. On this freeware software, one of the Puran gadgets is 'Gaming PC' that when enabled it strips my PC down to its bare bones and shuts down almost everything regarding the default services on my PC. To get this gadget working, you first have to configure it with your game and also have to add your PC's default services to your game within Puran Utilities gaming gadget. I have to use this software 'cause my PC has a standard Intel HD graphics card in-built to the motherboard and also I run Trainz2012 on its lowest graphics settings to further help screen graphics.
Busy re-working my 17+ mile route based upon the former Great Eastern Railway branch line from March to Wisbech, and my spare time to mess about with playing trains on my PC is limited each day.

The hardware accelerated texture compression setting is under Content Manager > File > Settings > Miscellaneous, but if the previous driver version worked OK, it's better to stick with that version.
