Importing from a folder

Hello, I have downloaded Cabon City before I got TZ2010.
Now I have it all in a separate folder and ask how can I import this folder into the Trainz content?. Same with Settle and Carlisle (?). I also bought speedtreez but I assume this is already in 2010 as my trees are all trembling!!!

Hi,

To import from a folder, open CM3.2.
Then use the "FILE" menu, select the "import content" folder and navigate to the correct folder.

Do you mean the S&C add-on? If so, the simplest way is to move the install exe file into the 2010 folder, then run it from there.
That will install the built-in content as well as the rest of the content (2010 should have given you the option to install into the S&C install).

You'll need the CD Key - of course.

Warning: Unsupported file type for 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Auran\TS2009_snc/assets.tdx'

Warning: Unsupported file type for 'C:\Program Files (x86)

etc for all the files.
Also couldnt find the Install exe in SNC, not sure where this is.

What a huge baseboard layout in the York to Kings Cross route. I travelled the route before taking the train to Paris last year.

When you install the program, the "built-in" items are part of the *.ja file. The downloaded content is in a separate sub-folder.

You can't transfer built-in content by importing - that's why I suggested that you install the 2009_S&C into the 2010 program.

Alternatively (and this is a) slow and b) doesn't work with protected built-in content):-
Open S&C Content manager. Select All. Open for Edit.
Close S&C CM
Open 2010 CM3.2
File import content (from the editing folder in S&C sub-folder)
Commit (or revert - I can't remember which!)
Close CM 3.2
Open S&C CN then select all and revert to original.
Close everything - that's about 3-4 hours timescale.....

If you downloaded the S&C - that's the file to copy into the 2010 foleer, then run
