Imperial to Metric

After returing to trainz 2010 after several months eighter I have forgotten a basic operation, or the GUI has been updated.
I wish to change from Imperial to Metric units and the only window that I can find is for "New Routes" and sessions" in the Surveyor Menu.

Having dumped several months work before, I am reluctent to overwrite my existing Route and session with the metric option when the background showing is a basic grid.

Can anyone kindly instruct as to how one changes , safely, fron existing Imperial scame to Metric??

Is this while you're driving?

or is this in surveyor?

Load the route in surveyor and click on surveyor menu in the top left corner. Click on edit route and it brings up the screen like you see if you start a new route, allows you to change the name, scale,and units.

Due to a cable cut our internet serves have been down since last Thursday night...talk about being isolated !!

Ben1337 and rjw1975, in anwser to your questions I was trying to change units while in a session.
Ben, with your guidance, as soon as I went into the Route level, The changes were readily made. Amazing the time wasted when one doesn't know.
