In Content Manager , I have a icon that looks like a sd card... can anyone tell me what this means..?

Where abouts in CM and what version of Trainz? Are you able to post a screenshot?

Possibly he means this
They are a type of assets listed as "Misc" which covers a wide range of assets that cannot be classified as the more usual types (buildings, splines, routes, etc).
In this case that particular icon is used to identify Misc assets that are "Prefabs" -effect layers (TurfFX, Clutter, Water, etc) that have been saved as assets for use in other routes.
My theory anyway, from the limited description in the original post.

Correction: "Prefabs" are actually permanent Scrapbooks that have been supplied with your install of Trainz. I got confused with "Presets" which are saved Effect Layers - these have a different icon but are still under the broad classification of "Misc". Scrapbooks that you have created and saved yourself have the same icon but do not include the word "Prefab" in their names.
