hello to all:

I have lost 25 open hopper train cars in my layout well not really. I have deleted them in my layout on the side track and then save then added some 100ton quad hoppers and saved them. went to cmp
and it listed all my 25 open hoppers in the layout but how can this be when I deleted them and the track also. so I went to my layout again and look in the map viewer and no 25 open hoppers showing up so they must be deleted along with the track. it shows all my 100 100ton quad hoppers but cmp is still says that the 25 open hoppers are listed under view assests in cmp. but if its not in my layout showing up where can they be. they must be ghosts hoppers or something.


can any one shed some light on this subjuect

IDK for sure but i don't think that they are removed from the config files when you deleate them from a session? Go to the config file see if they are listed in the kuid table.

I did check out the config file and it shows all 25 open hoppers kuids and also listed all my 100ton quad hoppers. so would it be ok to delete them? my 100ton quad hoppers are fine just the open hoppers in this one session giving me problems all other sessions I can delete them with no problems.

why is this acting like that to the 25 open hoppers? I have delete all sorts of train cars on this session and others and did not have any problems deleteing them l until now with the open hoppers in this ne session.

Yes you can remove the kuid in the con-fig file.
But make sure you make a copy of the file put it in note pad save to your desk top
until after you check the session out.
Now take out the kuid and the prod# too.Save and recommit.
