I have been hearing so much whining and whinging on the forums, this isnt working, why cant I do that, blah blah blah. Well I,m happy with my copy of TRS06 it doesnt work perfectly but I,m happy with it. It is my favourite game of all time. Who else here is happy with whatever version of Trainz you have. Whether it be from UTC to TRS09 are you happy with it because I am.

(No Whining allowed. Dont say that its ironic me complaining about to many complainers because I,m already aware.)

:D ;) :p

I can see and hear the Trainz Community (myself included) dancing and singing with exuberant happiness.

Have fun,

Yes you are right, there is too much whining and not enough praise for the good things about Trainz. I am currently on build 4088 of Ts2009 and have now made it my only installed edition of Trainz. I feel that every £ I have spent on Trainz has been money well spent, I just wish that Auran had not rushed Ts2009 out so quickly and given us a bit more time with TC3, but that said, I suspect that with the troubles Auran are going through getting more money is their only way to survive, John.

So now, in your opinion, asking for help because trainz will not run, crashes, or whatever, is considered "whining and whinging"

So yours works, good for you, but that does not mean you can insult all the people who's trainz does not work, your post comes very close to being against the CoC, this is a forum where people come to get help, not to be told they are "whining and whinging".

Cheers David

Don't be too harsh David. Possibly "whining and whinging" are not good words to describe the ordeals of trainz. We all have our problems and get help on the forums. I have even had direct help from Auran on one problem I couldn,t solve.I was very lucky to get that, believe me. I have found that in 90% of the cases, it is not the program but the user.ie not following instructions, not having latest drivers etc etc. Some post to this forum in a disgruntled way and recieve help straight away. Disgruntled.Thats the word! I like it better than whining and whinging.

I am happy with the game, now that I beefed up my RAM.

But displeased with the lack of a Berkshire, but am eagerly awaiting for nickelplateroad to finish his. And the fact that I have reached my 100mb download limit. Curse you all and your amazing content. :D

i been here with trainz from the demo, game,, i still have it,,,, some where on cd,when i had a problem i would come into the fourms and i would get a answer ina few days,,,,, or a answer from the helpdesk in 24 to 48 hours

just keep up the good work

I quite agree, maybe "To counteract all the disgruntled posts lets have a satisfied thread" :D :hehe: :p

I am with you Klambert. I have always been happy with my TRS2006, which was my introduction to Auran Tranz. It has given me many hours, weeks, Months of pleasure, especially on the route-building and modelling fronts. I have TRS2009, also, but just shying away from it until I download the latest SP2 patch and the new Treez pack sounds interesting. Better days are coming !
Cheers, Fender :D

We need more "positive" threads like this one. BTW, you can ask for help on this forum without "whining or whinging"

I am also very happy with Trainz, first 2004 and now 2006, a ridiculously good game for the price.

As I have said before, it is a stable and trouble free program as long as you follow the simple advice given in the manuals and in this forum as far as installation and set-up is concerned.

Its best to ignor the negative stuff and concentrate on the positives, a game with unlimited potential and a community of fantastic creators backed up by a forum which is generally interesting, useful and entertaining (thank you Alberte and others).

There is a fine line between Whinging and asking for help. Some of the problems that appear are ridiculous but some of them are more serious. I dont like it when people complain about other peoples content unless it was a serous issue not the wrong bogey or hornsound complaint. I,m not going to mention any names. (I,m guilty of doing that once.)

09 could do better but.....

YES, I am happy with it and grateful that I have it. :)
The problems can be solved one at a time.

Cheerio,
Nicholas.

Yes That's how you do it.
One at a time.
I had problems with 04 and 06 but overall, It is a very satisfying sim. Keeps me off the streets anyway.
