I'm trying to creat my own map, but all the signals are red before the junctions. who can explain how to make the signals switch to yellow/green light? I can't understand...

All the signals will show red when there is no activity on the line. When in surveyor to check if a signal is work properly you need to place a train (making sure it's green direction arrow is facing the signal) just before the signal. If the signal does not change then a few things need to be checked, make sure all switches are set for traffic, there are no tracks on dead ends that do not have the proper signal end barrier, make sure all track is connected, there are no other trains or cars on the line between signals. Hope this helps.

You may also have to assign a junction to the signal. You do this by clicking the question mark and then clicking on the signal. This often brings up a dialog window which allows you to assign the junction name to the signal, the speed through the junction and even direction or other junctions.

You will need a train on the track though and pointing in the right direction.
